Description
This piece evolved over a few layers and I softened the wedgwood, blues, and reds to give it a pastel-like feel.
Listening to a collection of 1960s protest, folk and psychedelic songs, coincidentally at the same time there was a lot of media attention to some horrific and unnecessary racist incidents, which inspired me to finish it with the black and white.
100cm x 76cm, acrylic and charcoal on canvas.
(Bob Dylan, Sam Cooke, Jefferson Airplane, Creedance Clearwater Revival)
